In memory of beloved members of our family

S*Absolut Coon's "Lilla Blå" ("Little Blue")

Born 2009-05-11

Dead 2009-05-15

Our beautiful, blue boy, who did so well the first 24 hours in his young life. He gained weight and everything seemed to be ok. Unfortunately his breathing was giving him trouble and antibiotics and bottlefeeding did not help. He quietly died away only 4 days old.
Dear little heart, we will never forget you!
Sleep in peace you little Blue Boy - we will meet again on the other side of the Rainbowbridge.

(N) Arctic Coon's Rozy Madonna

Born 2001-09-28

Dead 2009-04-09

Rozy Madonna, or "Donna" as she was called here at home was a very good looking, colourful and super tempered MCO-girl. She was our first female and she was also the mother of our first litter, the A-litter and then also the C-litter.
In July 2006 we decided that she should live her life here with us as a happy neutre. Unfortunately Donna did not like to live as a neutre among the other cats here at home. She was therefore re-homed in another family in 2007. A home in which she could live her life like the queen she really was...... One day in April 2009 she got very, very sick with bloody vomits and great pain in her stomach. She was immediately taken to a veterinarian who decided that he only could let her go to sleep because she was in such great pain.
Donna is sadly missed by us and also by the family in which she lived as a queen of the house for the last two years of her life. She has stolen many hearts during her life and there will be many hugs waiting for you Donna when we all meet again by the Rainbowbridge. Sleep well and safe you fantastic girl until our next meeting.................

DK* Biloxi's No Fear

Born 2007-02-25

Dead 2008-08-11

We called our woderful redsilvermale"Curry-Jam-Jam" because of his colur and because of the fact that he was "spinning" all the time - "spinning" in Swedish is "kurra" so the name "Curry" was perfect for this wonderful boy.
Unfortunately he got big problems in his mouth when he was changing teeth at the age of about 6 months. In spite of antibiotics his mouth was red an irritated. When he was re-vaccinated in May 2008 the problems got much worse. He had problems to eat and he stopped washing himself.
Our veterinary has tried everything to try and make him better but without result. We did not want him to suffer anymore so in August 2008 he calmly went to sleep.
We miss you so much Curry, and we hope that you will not suffer anymore and we really love to meet you again some day in the future and then we can cross the Rainbowbridge together.............

IP S*Figgli´s Mr Marvin

Born 1996-12-12

Dead 2002-09-19

Mr Marvin was our "Philosopher" who, like Ferdinand the Bull, prefered to sit and "smell the flowers rather than to run around and play with the other cats".
He was quite unexpectedly and very sudden taken away from us and we miss him more than words can express.
Beloved Marvin, have a nice time until we see each other again and can cross the Rainbowbridge together............

Postmortem 1: An autopsy were made in order to find out why Marvin died so sudden. The autopsy showed no signs of desease and no HCM in his heart.
It seems like a quite healthy cat just died very sudden for some unaccountable reason.
Postmortem 2: Out veterinary was not satisfied with the above report so she had a new autopsy made by some of her old collegues. This autopsy showed that Marvin did have HCM in his heart, but in such an early stage that it was almost invisible for the human eye. And no HCM-tests could ever have shown the disease in his heart at this early stage.

Rainbow Bridge

"Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.......
